Cow/ gaumata here is Indian breed cow. Aanandi  govri or cowdung cakes are cow dung molded by bare hands. Dried dung of cow is highly medicinal and healing substance by Ayurveda. It possesses antibacterial properties. Burning of dried cow dung cakes purifies air. It is scientifically proven that cow dung purifies air and also has anti pollutant and anti-radiation qualities. It has detoxifying effect on atmosphere. Cow dung smoke is mosquito repellent. Burning of cow dung with ghee is best way to purify home. It removes negative energy of home.
